Kelly Ellard.
I also want to note that I heard today that Kelly Ellard was found guilty today in her third trial for the murder of Reena Virk (pictured below) when she (Ellard) was 15 years old.

Posted by: It's a sad day really. I've gotten to know both families and no one is a winner here. Hopefully now everyone can work on healing and trying to put this behind. I hope Kelly learns how to become a useful member of society. She isn't helping herself by having these anti-social episodes. Let's all think happy thoughts now. :) Reena is in a better place. This is one sick world for the most part!

Posted by: issacharokay, I should have checked this. Ellard was sentenced today to life in prison which is Canadian courts will mean substantially less time in jail than the rest of her life. No parole for 7 years.

The judge said in his statement in court that he was troubled by Kelly's lack of remorse and the fact that she bragged stil about what she did. Her father saying that shes an innocent little girl who is not a threat to society is pretty demonstrative of a family in complete denial of what their "little girl" is really capable of. How about the elderly woman Kelly attacked in a park in New Westminister a couple years ago for the womans cell phone?!! She did this while being trusted to be in society with the promise to keep the peace. I hope that evil tw*t gets what shes got coming like maybe a taste of her own medicine in jail.

They don't know her from Adam and it doesn't matter even if you have an interview with her its all about selling news papers and stories even if there full of shit.. they have always put one side of the storey in the news papers and of course we all believe everything that is written is true. Well that's crap. You can not make any judgement unless you were in the court room and heard both sides of the trial, then you can make your mind up on what you believe to be is true. I know this because I read it in the media, so clearly the media have not forgotten that there were others involved.
It's silly to suggest that you can't make a judgement about Ellard unless you were in the courtroom. My judgement obviously carries less weight that those of the jurors, but then they found Ellard guilty didn't they?

I say, please don't put Reena's family, or even the other girls/Warren through all the gory details yet again. They are all trying to deal with the past, not drag it all through the mud again. Posted by: Im reading Under the Bridge by Rebecca Godfrey. It gives some insight into where everyone was exactly, even Kelly. Im posting this in 2007 and it doesnt seem theres a lot going on in the news about this anymore, but should you have interest, check this book out. Its very insightful

Put her in alcohol and drug rehab but keep her away from her family, who may be the worst thing for her recovery.
She definitely has a substance abuse disorder with violent tendencies.

She looks like she has been working the streets for 20 years, yet she hasn't even seen a street in how long. Whatever her childhood problems were are irrelevant because she is just wired wrong. She is violent, ruthless, immature and really just not that smart. For the people who say that we 'don't know her from Adam' and shouldn't pass judgement - watch her trial, look at her criminal history since this murder, just look at HER. She should have been put in a room with Virk's family wearing some stomping boots on their feet. She got off way too easy for this and she WILL HURT PEOPLE AGAIN if and when she gets out. And just imagine if she does have children. Whoever let's this bi#ch walk should first sign something that says they will be responsible to watch her and her kids forever because this pig will never be a good mother or role model to anyone. Poor poor child if she should actually be allowed to give birth. Rot in jail with your ugly self, Kelly.

Still, I am surprised that people still want to talk about this case. My original comment was short because I couldn't find anything useful to say. What can you really say? Reena Virk is dead. Murdered over for nothing and nothing is going to change that.
