Dog the Bounty Hunter is Arrested...
I missed this at the time but apparently Duane "Dog" Chapman, the man who said he would try to collect the bounty on Osama bin Laden if the US government gave him permission, has been arrested in Honolulu. This goes back to his arrest in Mexico for detaining convicted rapist Andrew Luster and refusing to turn him over to the Mexican police.
I have to say I'm torn. Bounty Hunting is illegal in Mexico and it seems Chapman did in fact break Mexican law. On the other hand, why were the Mexican police not arresting Luster themselves, and are they really going to throw him in prison for detaining a rapist? Seriously? Prison? For up to four years?
If you haven't ever seen "Dog the Bounty Hunter", it's worth catching for at least once. It's... very different... Definitely a guy who marches to the beat of his own drum. :)

I'd like to hope that if I was the Mexican police and some guy nabbed a convicted rapist I'd be more concerned with carting off the rapist and buying the other guy a beer than in screaming about who's sandbox it is.
