The Rants of Issachar

Saturday morning blogging...
So very true...

Still that's not the only reason I blog. I never did have that many readers on my site, and when I didn't post anything for several months at a time I think I lost the few that I had. If you're reading this, you're probably the only one. I like blogging because it forces me to think through what I want to say. I don't like being proved wrong, so I have to make sure that I can defend my arguments and that I say what I mean.
The other things I really like is that blogging comes with links. In a conversation people say things like "This article I red had a statistic that showed x". Online, I can link to that article and I have to if I want people to take me seriously.
I just wish I could tie my comments on other blogs back to here automatically.

Posted by: Major JohnYou have not lost all your readers. Heck, I am in Iraq and I still manage to look in now and again...how many bloggers can claim Southwest Asian readership?!
Posted by: issacharWell a few of the ones in Southwest Asia at any rate. :)
It's nice to know that some people are still reading. It encourages me to write sensibly. Be safe over there!

Posted by: Claire ColvinHey Andrew, Have you tried something like CoComment to track and import your comments elsewhere on to this blog?
I haven't used this program yet myself, but it looks like it should do what you're looking for. It has a bookmarklet and a Firefox extension so it shouldn't be a problem to get it to play nicely with Blogger.
